A gutted projection television on two sawhorses, with dozens of
plugs dangling in front of a mirror placed at the rear of the box.

Used and burnt coal ash, taken from a power plant, leaked
from the bottom of the TV like an hour glass.

The pile grew and grew as the mountain of ash inside
the TV disappeared, leaking to the floor.

Coal/coal fly ash, before/after incineration.

As the viewer looked into the TV, a distorted and magnified
image of themselves appeared behind the hanging plugs.
